My online photo collection started as a little album from my first trip to China in February 2005. However it quickly grew too large to be conveniently contained in one collection, so decided to split it into multiple collections, each of which contain a number of albums...

After Typhoon - it's the most beautiful day!

May 17, 2006 Typhoon Chanchu landed about 200 kilometers from my home in Dameisha. The original estimates gave it a near direct path over to Hong Kong and Shenzhen, but fortunately we were saved from the worst when it changed its course in the the last day and turned towards east. The day after the storm the weather was gorgeous - it was the most beautiful day!
